This is a common usage issue, usually caused by reasons in the following areas. YGS Lock provides a professional troubleshooting guide to help you quickly locate and solve the problem: Please check one by one according to the following steps:
Power Supply Issue: This is the most common cause. Please be sure to use a multimeter to check if the input voltage is stable and conforms to the product's required electrical parameter range.
Check Point: Ensure input voltage is standard 12VDC or 24VDC, and voltage fluctuation is kept within the allowable error range of ±10%.
Impact: If the input voltage is too low, it will directly cause insufficient magnetic force generated by the electromagnetic coil, thus failing to attract the armature plate.
Wiring Problem: Please carefully check the circuit connection status.
Check Point: Confirm if all wiring ports are firmly connected without looseness or detachment. Also, verify if the positive and negative poles of the power supply are correctly connected to avoid the lock failing to work normally due to wiring errors.
Mechanical Obstacle: Interference at the physical level can also cause failure to engage.
Check Point: Please carefully observe the lock body surface and armature plate surface to confirm if there are foreign objects, dust, or oil stains blocking between the two. Also, check if the installation positions of the lock body and armature plate are completely aligned; any misalignment may cause the magnetic force to be ineffective, thus hindering normal engagement.
Following the above troubleshooting steps, the vast majority of engagement problems can be effectively resolved. If the problem persists, please contact our after-sales technical team at any time!
